1 hour per day for 7 weeks of English as a Foreign Language was taught to a class of rural, public school 6th graders from Morazán, Honduras.
The students were beginners with the ability to write lists of English vocabulary, but no communicative ability.
Comprehension-based practices in a low-anxiety environment were utilized, such as Total Physical Response (TPR), Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS), and MovieTalk.
The teaching is "raw," since I only had 6 months experience teaching this way.
