10 STORY-COMPLETION TASKS BASED ON EASY, SELF-WORKING CARD TRICKS
A NEW way to collaborate, engage, and facilitate language acquisition in the classroom!!! The card trick provides the vehicle for creating a story. Details of the story are asked such that every class comes up with a different version. You can repeat the card trick as many times as you’d like, every time collaborating with the class and using their input to customize a different story.
These are "self-working" card tricks, i.e. they always work so long as you put the cards in the proper places. The setup is minimal for the few tricks that require it.
